Who's Working for You?
I work solely on behalf of purchasers in real estate transactions. Buyer agency is not a new idea, but has only become commonplace in the last few years in the residential real estate market, and we feel strongly that this service enhances our ability to service our clients' needs.
St.Louis has affordable, charming and very comfortable homes, both new and old. We have so many unique and wonderful neighborhoods, from the comfortable old South Side, to the trendy and sophisticated rehab areas, to the welcoming family neighborhoods of the suburbs. Buying a home is most people's biggest life investment. It's enormously important from many different perspectives. To make a house a home it has to be economically feasible, physically workable and aesthetically inviting. These are tough combinations, but we can find them, and they are exactly why I love my job.
Experience
Annette Canale is one of the few agents in the St.Louis area working exclusively with buyers in real estate transactions. She works for them full time, seven days a week! Annette brings practicality and imagination, and most of all, experience to work with her everyday.
She has seen much of the world, but happily and deliberately chose St.Louis for her home.
Annette was born in Germany, but moved to St.Louis at the age of seven. She grew up here, first on the North side, attending grade school in Baden. Later her family moved to South County and she graduated from Nerinx Hall High School in Webster Groves. Her college and adult life have taken her around the world. She has lived in the chateau region of France, university quarter of Montreal, and the suburbs of Toronto, Canada.
She learned to make cutomer service a priority with many years of sales experience working for her family's travel agency. Attention to detail, "doing the homework," commitment to understanding what her clients want and making their dreams a reality make her love all aspects of sales. "Listening is my best skill. I love the fact that listen is an anagram of silent. My best sales skill is my ability to be quiet and focus attentively on my client's directions. I bring this skill and commitment to RE/MAX."
Annette owns her own home and has several investment properties, so she can advise you from first hand experience. She is the mother of three grown sons, Eric, Matthew and Patrick. "I've owned houses in the various cities I've lived in, from my first home (we paid $16,500!), to a large family home, to condos. Now single again, I feel I understand from first hand knowledge the needs, limitations and dreams of many different kinds of homebuyers, from first-time to empty-nester."
Annette is fluent in English, French, German and Real-Estatese.
